In this series I’ll be posting each day that I work on this and today is day 4



This year I’ll be attempting to make two instruments, this one is the 2 of 2 and will take a back seat to my proper Jurgs cup 4 build


What is the Jurgs cup? It’s a community based guitar building event that has been running for the last 3 years, each year there is a theme and this year is hero, basically who got me into music




This is the black eagle that was made in the 70s by Ibanez. Probably the most known person is Krist Novoselic from nirvana, he used a black eagle early on

I can’t lie I first got into nirvana after Kurt Cobain died, I was around 12 years old and unplugged in New York was constantly playing on the abc here in Australia. They also played the band Live and their unplugged and one song of theirs got me into bass but I’m sure as shit not going to make
