Did you see the colors in the trailer? Something with the experts at Hollywood is mighty going wrong.
I tell you the secret: BLUE, BLUE, BLUE. To be exact Teal and Orange™. No I'm not talking about everybody absolutely wearing blue clothes and surrounding themself by blue gear. It's the additional color-grading on top of every blockbuster movie that shifts blue into green and red into orange, applicate an unnatural contrast, brought to the absolute new top in JW Trailer.
So I made a ultra-amateurish, rather proof-of-concept regrade of the trailer. My first project made in Lightworks, duration: 5 minutes.
The color regrading is far from ideal but it should be a display of how an complete amateur can make better colors than billions of dollars invested into BIG-Triple-AAA Hollywood brands.

You know the Hollywood's secret recipe to success. Make it visually special. You know how it's done? Just make it even more green, teal and orange. Wan't to go more special? Make it even more TEAL and ORANGE there has been no other rule past 15 years and it reached a level of self-satirical niveau.
