Can the human mind
comprehend the grandeur
of the universe around us?
From the infinitesimal
to the colossal
their is beauty
in the design
which lies beyond
our ability to perceive.
Millions of miles
of unexplored land
and light
appear to our eyes
as specs in the sky.
Every particle of the earth
is an elaborate system
of life and purpose.
Moment by moment
The intricate mechanisms of life
are flowing in balanced motion
energized by a power
imperceptible to us
preserving all order and life.
The greatest truths of reality
cannot be described by words
or understood through the senses of the body.
The infinite capacity of the mind
yearns to expand beyond these limitations
thirsting to transcend this narrow perspective.
Inspired music is a lens for the soul
bringing within our view
a truer vision
giving us a taste
of the infinite
piercing past our limitations
into the immensity of reality.
This universal language communicates
the greater realities
of our existence.
For this purpose Gustav Holst composed this famous melody
from his soul-stirring symphony “The Planets”
“The enormity of the universe
revealed by science
cannot readily be grasped
by the human brain,
but the music of The Planets
enables the mind
to acquire some comprehension
of the vastness of space
where rational understanding fails.” -Gustav Holst
“Music, being identical with heaven,
isn't a thing of momentary thrills,
or even hourly ones.
It's a condition of eternity.” -Gustav Holst
Expose your mind
to transcendence
to the infinite
to eternity
