Back when I did the 12A conversion on my 'rail, I took all the leftover spare parts (aka "junk") and assembled them into a minimalist vehicle. Although we drive it quite slowly in the picture, I imagine it was capable of going dangerously fast. The engine is a 12A from an RX7. The differential is an upside-down front diff from a Nissan pickup. The tires and pedal assembly are from a VW. The origin of the single disc brake is unknown. The radiator came from a dodge caravan. The water pump came from a waterbed, and was powered by an inverter. Mishaps included the front wheel falling off once, and that time we forgot to turn on the inverter leading to a minor steam explosion. It also leaked oil profusely, made lots of noise, and was generally an embarrassment to the neighborhood.
