You can use orange lag to clip through the painting. Stand on the left side, C-Up and look up. Throw oranges until the game lags enough (7 gets in pretty consistently), press C-Up again and walk through immediately. You can grab the Golden Banana, but you have to leave and re-enter to get the Banana Fairy.
The usefulness in a run depends on how the previous Lanky clip goes. Not recommended if you are low on oranges.
