The Alaska Film Archives celebrates Alaska baseball! This clip features a late 1950s matchup between the Fairbanks Sportland Bees and a Juneau team. One of the notable players on the Sportland team is Governor Mike Stepovich, last governor of the Territory of Alaska - wearing No. 10. Note Juneau's A.J. Mine on the hillside in the distance near the end of the clip (Color/Silent/16mm film).
