June is Gun Violence Awareness Month.

Violence prevention is injury prevention:

Keep guns locked, secure, and out of reach of children. Firearms are the leading cause of death for people under 20.​

Never leave a gun in your vehicle — stolen firearms are often used in other crimes.​

In a moment of conflict, don’t let a split-second decision become a lifetime of regret.​

Never celebrate with gunfire — it’s dangerous and illegal.​

Prevent an Injury. Store guns safely. ​
