This tour features driving from Los Angeles to San Gabriel mountains above the city of Azuza, California and the Bridge to nowhere hike in full.

Bridge to Nowhere - Trailhead

The hiking trail is not being maintained. It's not even marked.
The hikers have to walk along the east Fork River, crossing it multiple times and risking being buried under the frequent rock slides wile walking on the edges of the previous rock slides.
I would rate this hiking trail as highly Stupid.
Whatever agency collects $5 per day parking fees at the trailhead, does nothing for the trail.
Safety issues
There have been a large number of fatalities along the East Fork of the San Gabriel River due in part to the swift water of the San Gabriel River which can rise significantly and without warning when heavy rainfall to the Northeast of the region introduces flash flood waters to the river.
Crossing the river to and from the Bridge to Nowhere can be dangerous and even individuals crossing in groups have experienced fatalities.
