Ana Mo Shoshin | June 2023 Reset | House Reset | Clean With me | Fridge, Kitchen, living room | Dirty House is Okay!! @AnaMoShoshin | Uploaded June 2023 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Hi, I’m Mo.
In 2023, I've been trying out a different reset each month. My hope is to find a reset routine that works for me. Sometimes I focus on content creation, sometime cleaning, and sometimes something different. In the end of May I got started with my June Reset. My idea was to clean the more commonly used areas in our house. I started with the kitchen, and specifically the fridge. I haven't cleaned out the fridge in a looong time! One reason that we struggle with clutter is bc we try to live as sustainable as we are able. This translates to a cluttered fridge, bc we keep all out left overs, we bring home sauces or leftovers from restaurants, we try to use every speck and every drop of each food items that we but. This causes the refrigerator to become full quickly. Not wanting to put things in landfill means we leave it in there too long, bc we don't want to throw it away. It was passed time to do a big clean out. As much as possible went to the compost, containers got washed, put away or recycled where possible.
Next we moved on to the kitchen. Our kitchen has been under construction basically since we moved in. We put up a new shelf and started organizing the kitchen in a way that makes it more usable for us.
Moving on to the living room, we are throwing out a couch that we have had for many years and that cats have scratched to pieces. Trying to be as sustainable as possible we removed the legs, and any hardware we thought we might be able to use. We saved the arms to convert to cat scratchers.
Every reset is a process, a project, but this one is a biggie! Something that I've learned doing these videos for a few months is that they are easier to watch than to create!
What sort of reset would you like to see from me in the future?
