Interfaces are getting faster by the day! This requires increased attention in the PCB design.

The PCB design is the key source and solution for EMC issues. In this webinar, we explore different stackup examples and try to improve them. We highlight the changes in impedance basis the geometry of the trace and the PCB stackup. We demonstrate how Altium can be used for calculating the trace geometry to get the desired impedance.

The key to a successful PCB design is to manage the return path. This is not only essential for the signal traces, but also involves a proper power delivery. The goal is to minimize EMC issues to pass the tests. We also show you key do’s and don’ts for improving the return paths.
