My final level in the hack, as part of the final four castles before the true finale. This level is a huge tribute to morsel/morceau's levels in the original JUMP.
Not including the intro room, the sublevels are meant to represent, in order: -CHARGE- or -FIRE-?, Perilous Pier, Rapture of the Deep, Manky Bridge, Shouldering On, House of the Holy. I chose to exclude The Green Switch because I wanted to have it be evenly split with 3 rooms each per midpoint.
There's a couple other JUMP 1 references in the level too, the message box at the beginning is a reference to UNDER CONSTRUCTION and the first two screens are a recreation of the first two screens of The Depraved Stronghold. Joke behind that is to instill fear in the players + imply Depraved was stolen from Morsel and Morsel is responsible for every infamous moment in the hack :p. Not meant to be an attack, I just thought it'd be funny to include.
This level actually had a joke boss originally against a Mega Mole resprited as morsel (represented by an angry throw block), but it was removed as its super lategame status made the boss feel weird and unnecessary. Other than that, the only changes between this and the submission were mostly just nerfs and polish.
I love this level. It's not the best level I made but it's so stupid and good.
