I really shouldn't title this one, "blading cup weekend."
The reason being that I didn't really film the contest.
I don't like filming events (even though I've filmed about 10 of them).
I like going to the events, I like experiencing the moment, but I don't really like the stress of trying to catch every PVC box hammer on tape.
So I didn't.
However, I did film my friends and people I respect skate the course a couple of times.
The Blading Cup professional media can cover the rest.
My cut? It's really just talking and being silly with my absolute boys.
That was the goal, just go and have fun.
I don't know what's wrong with me, but every time I go to an event I feel a self-induced pressure to try and create something. I don't want to do it, but my body wants to pick up the camera on autopilot.
It felt irresponsible being at the contest and not filming it.
But I think it was worth it.
