It’s time to wrap up July! This month I read across the sci-fi, fantasy, and mystery spectrum - from the surreal beauty of Piranesi to the post-apocalyptic mystery of Wool, with some brand new fantasy (The Witch Roads) and an epic space continuation (Nemesis Games) thrown in. I'm also reviewing a short story every month, starting with a classic from Ursula K LeGuin.
I’ll take you through what I loved, what surprised me, and what didn’t work (yep—there were two DNFs). As always, I’m sharing honest thoughts, favorite characters, and the books I can’t stop thinking about.
