Hey gang! I'll be wrapping up my reading month in this video, and I decided to take you along with me on a walk through rural Iowa. Find out the last couple of books I read in Jane Austen July I have even more thoughts on the Persuasion netflix film, and I also talk about several non-Jane books I read this month that got me thinking deep thoughts. There's something about walking that gets my brain thinking! Enjoy!
Because I want this to be a safe space for you all I do want to warn you that I talk a little bit about the topic of suicide, racism, politics, and gun violence. I don't discuss it in graphic detail but just share some thoughts I've had on these subjects that the books I've read have made me think about. I'd be happy to talk about this more in the comments, but I acknowledge that these topics are very sensitive ones and this might not be the best format for it. I know that you all will be kind and respectful to each other's thoughts and opinions, and it's my goal to respond that way as well.
