It’s been a historic year for Afrobeats. With numerous artists hitting musical milestones, selling out stadiums and we even saw the Grammy’s category - ‘African Music’ - become a new addition to the musical genre’s success.

Priscilla Ngethe sat with British-Ghanaian record producer @julsbaby_ to find out the secrets to his success and how he incorporated sounds from his homeland into his new EP 'Palmwine Diaries' and his hit song 'Palmwine Riddim'. Juls has worked with some of Afrobeats' top artists, from Wizkid to Burna Boy.
