For most of 2004, Smackdown was in a bad state, wrestlers were leaving the company and the brand, injuries were rampant, it was not a fun time for the blue brand. Everything was a mess, but despite that, as usual the show must go on, but the problem was, it wasn’t just the weekly show they had to maintain, they somehow had to cook up a PPV
despite everything falling apart, despite 80% of the roster being 70 overall jobbers, they had to book a Smackdown exclusive PPV with one of the most depleted rosters of all time
and after drastic changes, somehow someway, against all odds the WWE was able to put together Judgement Day 2004... and what the WWE did on that said PPV is even more hilarious.
22 years later, lets go back and take a look at a WWE PPV that truly does not make any sense. Ladies and gentlemen this is JUDGEMENT DAY 2004
