One block, 3 Quilt patterns. Yep! With each step of the way in creating a Christmas Lemoyne Star you will see 3 different quilt patterns. You will love this process, I promise!
What you need for the quilt block:
3 colors of DSP
DSP #1: 4” square. If you are using a directional pattern, make it your 4” square. I chose the shaded spruce/garden green plaid from the Joy of Christmas DSP.
DSP #2: 2 7/8” square complimentary to DSP #1. I chose the real red marbled pattern from the Joy of Christmas DSP.
DSP #3: this color will frame the star. Consideration should be that it complements the first 2 colors but does not compete for attention. You will need (1) 2” square and (4) 1” squares. I chose the green leaves on a white background from the Joy of Christmas DSP (it is actually the flip side of the real red marbled paper).
Card Base: 4 1/4” x 11”, score at 5 1/2”. I chose Pebbled Path cs.
Card inserts: 4” square Basic White cs.
DSP layer: (1) slightly larger than 4 1/8” square real red (can be DSP or cs).
DSP strips: (1) 5/8” x 4” real red.
(1) 1 1/8” x 4 1/8” pebbled path.
DSP back: (1) 4” x 5 1/4” in landscape orientation.
Embellishments: 2023-2025 In Color Dots shown.
Very Vanilla/Black plaid ribbon shown.
Sentiment stamp from More Wishes stamp set.
Shaded Spruce ink pad.
