So i have this Joust cocktail machine (I know i'm very lucky to have it) Did a first proper investigation of it today. Power cord was a nightmare on many levels (live was literally dangling free inside the machine) so i've replaced that and this is its first test.
Mostly working so i'm very pleased.
Most alarming issue though is a strange black hole in the picture. It looks like a monitor thing as opposed to a game thing as it is slowly shrinking. Please keep doing that. Anyone seen this before?
Everything else is probably board related and i've got an extra pcb set so should be able to diagnose that fairly easily.
Sound is missing. No biggy.
Odd missing chunks in the video, joust logo and something on the bottom edge.
And it's a bit crashy but that's probably dodgy ram. Rom interconnect cable feels a bit flakey too.
But over all .. YAY a working Joust!
