As a self professed addict to 3/4 waltz time, this re-imagination of Journey came to my mind pretty much instantly as soon as I heard the piece. The violin and piano are partners that share spotlight/supporting roles at various times throughout the piece; the playful back and forth dialogue combined with some interesting color changes are in itself, the journey that I present.
