*** Special Note: This is a BETA Video and currently unlisted ***
For the time being, I am only sharing this video in the beta testing Facebook group. Once JustAddFilament becomes "publicly available" I will make the link available on my channel. In the mean time, please check out my relatively new maker channel, and subscribe if you like it.
This is a quickly made video review and assembly of the "Joule Thief Flashlight" project from Just Add Filament. You can see how to put the project together with this video. Before soldering, take time to test the fit the components. I rushed through it a bit and it fits, but there are a few pieces that could be fine tuned a bit better. Pay special attention to the small switch, and I recommend raising the inductor up fairly high (maybe 5-10mm) so it sticks through the opening of the print. This will add to the effect.
