Here is another very efficient Joule Thief circuit. This is much the same as the last circuit,but uses the flyback from the Base/Emitter coil to drive the LED. As can be seen in the video,the transistor dose not rely on the battery voltage to switch on. This way,you can run your JT on very low voltages.
