This is an explanation in regards to my artist account and the future of jxsie beats. I will post and pin a shorter version in the comments below:

I've been releasing music, specifically beats, under the moniker "jxsie" for just over 3 years now. Little do most people know, I've been making music since 6th grade—11 years old; I am currently 17. However, I've been writing songs since preschool, I was just never confident enough in myself to sing those songs. While it has been a pleasure producing beats for you guys and it still reflects my passion for music, my biggest passion has always been singing. Over the past year I've been releasing music under my real name, Josue Barahona. Much of that time has been spent building confidence and refining my craft. While I know I have tons more room for growth, I am finally at a point where I feel truly proud of the music I make, especially considering I write, produce, record, and mix all of my own stuff. "Corolla" marks a turning point for me that came sooner than I thought. I am beyond proud of this song and I think it's a hit that deserves to be heard across the world. That being said, my progress as an artist has made it harder to save room for producing JUST beats; I am playing shows, writing songs, and practicing like never before. So this begs the question: What about jxsie?

I do not plan to stop releasing beats on jxsie beats any time soon. However, the time between each beat I release may be significantly longer, as some of you may have already began to notice. I plan to keep a steady schedule of one beat every 2 weeks. While I know it's not ideal, it gives me the time and energy to keep building myself as an artist, not just as a producer. I want to be one of the world's biggest artists, and I want everyone to know my name—my real name: Josue Barahona. It would mean the world to me if you would continue to support me on this new chapter of my music journey. I can't thank you guys enough for giving me this base. A 17 year old genuinely couldn't ask for more than what I have now, and it's all thanks to you guys. Now it's time for me to pursue my real dreams 🚀
