Magellan and Greyhound | Joshua Tree National Park - 7 Things to Do! @MagellanandGreyhound | Uploaded March 2021 | Updated October 2024, 45 minutes ago.
These are 7 things you can do in Joshua Tree National Park! Located in Southern California just a few hours east of Los Angeles, and the inspiration for the U2 album of the same name, Joshua Tree is roughly 800,000 acres of diverse landscape in the Mojave and Colorado deserts featuring fascinating rock formations, cacti, several palm tree oases, beautiful vistas and, of course, Joshua trees, also known as yucca trees. We visited for a few days for the first time in December 2019 and had a blast hiking, biking and rock climbing throughout the park. While we couldn't do everything, we definitely wish we had more time to hike up Ryan Mountain, which we heard is one of the best things to do in the park.
