Acting entirely by faith, a faith which was borne of a healthy fear of the Lord, Rahab the harlot received the Hebrew spies and helped the Jewish nation. Her faith moved God to be merciful and deliver her and her family from destruction. Likewise, faith in Christ moves God to deliver the repentant sinner from the destruction of hell.
