After the death of Moses, God charged Joshua and the Israelites to be strong and of good courage and to enter the promised land with the assurance that the Lord would be with them to overcome all their enemies and obstacles. The Lord Jesus gives the same charge to the churches. He is with us to overcome all enemies and obstacles to our most holy faith.
