“Daybreak was written early one summer morning in my apartment in Melbourne surrounded by a jungle of indoor plants with the sun hitting my face. Early mornings are probably one of my most favourite times to sit down at the piano, as you can catch that moment of calmness and tranquility in your mind before the onslaught of modernity slaps you in the face.
