As far as small but powerful family run cartels go, the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel stands out. The criminal organization was run by Jose Antonio Yepez “El Marro” Ortiz. Yepez Ortiz was deemed one of the most wanted Cartel bosses in Mexico. His close associates are made up of 14 people including their families. It is true that no one is born a criminal but every criminal is made, Jose Antonio was born in Guanajuato City, Mexico to criminal mother and main sponsor of Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel, other financial operators are presumed to be the uncles of "El Marro", with Santiago "G" aka "Bachicha" the main operator. The authorities also identify Juan Manuel "A", Artemio "E" aka "El Temo", Eusebio "G" aka "El Titis", Jose Alejandro "J" among others.
