After an EP and a growing list of collaborations – The Black Panther Soundtrack & Kali Uchis’ “Isolation” to name a small few – Jorja Smith has popped over the past few years. “Lost & Found” is the UK artist’s debut album that takes an honest / relatable look at the tribulations of young love. Heartbreak is not always found romantically here; the tracks Blue Lights and Lifeboat bring a powerfully political energy. All in all, this is a fantastic debut record with pristine vocal control from Jorja. If you have functional ears, you will enjoy “Lost & Found.”
