The Jordan River in Salt Lake City has a problem with floating plastic river trash. They solved the problem by installing a TUFFBOOM river trash boom barrier to stop the floating debris from reaching the Great Salt Lake. Since its installation, the barrier has been responsible for the prevention of tons of river trash from entering the local ecosystem.
