Here's the set I did at the Stand-Up Super Squad Comedy Show, now with glorious technicolor moving pictures!
Some of you might know that I've been trying out stand-up comedy for the past few months. I've only been doing open mics, but I did my first booked show Friday, August 7, 2009 at the Stand-Up Super Squad Comedy Show at the Fanatic Salon. My buddy, Max Goldberg, had booked the show and said he could probably get me a five-minute slot, so I took him up on his generous offer. This was the first time I'd ever tried to put together five minutes of some of my best material, as well as the first time I'd done a set for mostly non-comics and people I didn't know. The crowd was great and I'm pretty excited about how it all turned out.
