4 weeks ago i said to my girlfriend: "I have another mountain"
I always say that when i'm about to practice a song that takes a lot of practice. I believe the following saying is by Yiruma (i may be wrong though, don't quote me on it): "When you face a mountain that you can't climb, make it to your stone"
So it took me a LOT of practice to turn this song into my stone. And i mean, really a lot.
I'm already prepared for a lot of comments that say: "you play it too fast" and such. I know. I tried to play it like Jon Schmidt in his recently released video where he plays the song himself. (I also tried to play it a tad bit slower. That didn´t work for me at all. It was lacking the energy, and my girlfriend agreed) Gladly in the sheets he gives you wide tempo range, so you can basically play it as fast or slow as you like.
I love the hints and tips in his sheet music by the way. There is always something to laugh about. My favorite in this one is: "Seventh easiest in the book. (out of seven), ha ha" No shit, Jon! :D
Oh! In other news: i reached 2500 subscribers some time ago, thank you for that :D
