We want to show that the book community cares about Palestine and Palestinian author. Join Nicole Moon and I (and hopefully others who join on!) in completing the PALESTINE READING CHALLENGE.
Palestinian authors face some of the steepest discrimination from the publishing community. Let's amplify their voices!

THE CHALLENGE:
Book Challenges
- Read a book by a Palestinian author who lives or has lived in Palestine
- Read a book by a Palestinian author from the diaspora
- Read a memoir by a Palestinian author
- Read a book by a living Palestinian author
- Read a nonfiction book about Palestine or by a Palestinian author
- Read Palestinian poetry
- Read Palestinian literature in another genre--plays, comics, picture book, etc.
Life Challenges
- Use your voice on social media to speak about about apartheid in Palestine. Use the hashtags #FreePalestine, #SaveJerusalem, and #SaveSheikhJarrah
- Donate to an organization working in Palestine, like the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund: pcrf.net
-Talk to zionist friends and family members, or those who are just uninformed/ambivalent, about why you support a free Palestine.
- Watch a Palestinian film: esquireme.com/content/52493-10-great-palestinian-films-to-watch-right-now-for-free
- Listen to Palestinian music: spinditty.com/genres/15-of-the-Very-Best-of-Palestinian-Hip-Hop
