During a forum hosted Wednesday by NBC 5, Telemundo Chicago and WVON 1690 AM, NBC Chicago Political Reporter Mary Ann Ahern asked Mayor Brandon Johnson about his relationship with President Donald Trump and the federal government.

Johnson said Chicago is open to working with the Trump administration, but added that he will defend the city against what he called “tyranny.”
