John Ivers, the man who built the two most-known backyard roller coasters, Blue Flash and Blue Too, test-rides Blue Flash before I ride.
He said that when he built it, he didn't know if it was going to make it through the loop. So he test-rode with the track incomplete. The track ended right after the loop. He made it through the loop just fine, and he landed in the grass after flying off the unfinished track.
He said he rides it pretty much whenever. It must be nice to just be able to go outside whenever you want and ride a looping roller coaster. My hat's off to this genius.
