The Metropolitan Museum of Art is scrapping their John Galliano-focused theme after weeks of backlash from donors, community leaders, and online. Galliano, who was convicted by a French court in 2011 for two separate racist and antisemitic outbursts, is calling it his decision to step away from the event.
