Full Comic Story and Review/Recap for John Constantine, Hellblazer Volume 8: Rake At The Gates Of Hell. The conclusion to Garth Ennis's run! After twice outwitting and humiliating the Prince of Darkness, John Constantine isn’t anxious to make a third attempt — but he hasn’t got much of a choice. Finally freed from his stand-off in Hell, the Devil is coming to collect, and nothing on God’s Earth can stand in his way. Of course, Constantine’s not going down without a fight, but he knows better than anyone that you can only beat the odds so many times. In the end, all you can do is prepare for the worst, and make peace with those that will be left behind. Unfortunately, when the Devil comes to town, “peace” is never what follows.
