/// This excerpt consists mainly of a long solo by Shepp, with the tape cutting in towards the end of Coltrane's introductory section. Sound quality is pretty ropey: it gets worse during the following piano and bass solos, which I haven't included. If anyone wants to hear the rest of the recording, though (it lasts just over 35 minutes in total), I can put it up here. ..."
