The John Blatnik Bridge and its approach highways (signed as Interstate 535) connects downtown Duluth, MN with Superior, WI across the upper reaches of St. Louis Bay at the west end of Lake Superior. The bridge is scheduled to be demolished and replaced in the next few years with a new bridge in a project set to begin in 2026.
