I decided I wanted to do something really special for my wife to celebrate our wedding.
When we got engaged it just happened that a song was playing in the background at the exact moment I asked her to marry me. It was one of our favourite songs by The Bros. Landreth called 'Nothing,' and it got me thinking about how amazing it would be to have a unique version of it recorded by all of our friends round the world...
So I started reaching out, and piece by piece I received recordings from all sorts of wonderful artists, gradually building the song up from an acoustic guide track Joey Landreth - who wrote it - had sent me first of all.
6 months on and many, many days of mixing and editing later... This was the end result.
