Jockey Full of Bourbon is a song by Tom Waits. In this violin lesson I show how to play the intro (originally on guitar), then look at the vocal melody for verse and chorus. I show a backup style using chopping, then three approaches to soloing, using the minor pentatonic and minor blues scales, and Gypsy style using the arpeggios of the individual chords.
