In the second part of 'The Window,' you'll get to enjoy a livelier and more vivid view of the stunning landscape of Valoria la Buena (Valladolid, Spain).
Our entire Vocalese album came to life through our remote collaboration with Lara Ausensi. I'm based in California, and Lara is all the way over in Spain. Despite the distance, we've been working separately on our parts, gradually piecing together our musical project. To be honest, when we talk about an 'orchestra,' it's just Lara and me – both of us on vocals, with me also handling the piano.
What makes 'The Window' even more special is that Lara and her friends Natalia Rodríguez González and Aitor Gutiérrez Cosgaya took charge of creating the video themselves with Lara playing herself as the central character, to narrate her personal journey. In her own words:
"The Window" has one of those timeless melodies that holds a deeper connection. It's like stepping back in time and seeing my younger self playing the piano through my old house's window. My dad is there with me, as vivid as he ever was. It feels just like coming home."
