Jo Ann Castle was a honky-tonk pianist on the "Lawrence Welk Show" for about ten years, between 1959-1969. While honky-tonk pianists aren't always viewed in a positive light by us ragtimers, some of their playing can benefit even the highest Joplin fan. Here she is to play a traditional Scottish tune ragged, demonstrating her unique ability as an arranger.
