Step by Step!
Today we'll be installing a JLT 3.0 Oil Separator on a 2019 Ford F150 with a 5.0L V8 engine!
Part Number: 3016P-B
The purpose of an Oil Separator is to separate the oil vapor from the crankcase gasses that are being vented back into the intake manifold.
These oil vapors are normally burned off inside the engine & will cause carbon buildup over time.
This excessive carbon buildup can increase engine wear & decreased fuel efficiency & horsepower!
