I heard this song after watching the finale, and I found the lyrics were completely appropriate to the story of Jack and Kate. So I made this video. Strangely, I spent a lot of time but... it's not nice. It was hard to find images that went with the chorus without putting always the same! In short, I did as I could and I'm not satisfied of some parts.
I know it's a man's voice but it is the point of view of Kate! I could have used Mariah Carey's version but I prefer it by Phil Collins.

Now let's talk about the end. I didn't cry since 4 days, I therefore conclude that my mourning is almost over. I didn't spend so much time to cry for fiction since Harry Potter 5, when Sirius died.(Omg, what a trauma.) I cried during 2 days for Sirius, I just beat the score for Jack. I didn't cry anymore now but I think of it all the time, which prevents me from working. This is disturbing.

I think it's the best end of TV show I've ever seen. Lost is already the best TV show I've ever seen, so it makes sense. The story of the afterlife is completely astounding, in fact it has nothing to do with the explosion of the H bomb, it's really surprising. Personally, I find this idea brilliant , and I don't see how it is farfetched. I believe that time travel and black smoke in the guise of a man is testimony to all the weird things that happen because of this island. Furthermore, as it is never said they are in paradise, it doesn't bother me. And yet I'm extremely non-believer, and that's why sometimes I was really struggling with the U.S. TV Shows... But then, no. Ok, it happens in a church, but we see on the window the symbols of different religions and the world was created by the characters, the island (I understood it anyway), this famous LIGHT that we shall never know anything about, but that is not God.

Otherwise on the island ... Super Jack has finally accomplished what he was supposed to do, with Super Kate (aww, when she shot Flocke... it is just magic. « Nobody does it alone. »), Super Desmond ans Super Hurley, and can die in peace. Terrible moment. So strong, moving, and the link with the first scene of the show is beautifully done. I cried throughout the episode actually. Each scene was a farewell.

And of course... the couples. FINALLY. Shannon & Sayid. I was really happy. Sawyer and Juliet. The scene was funny, moving ... One of the best moments of the episode, in fact I think I'll make a video =) And above all, Jack and Kate ... Oh my god. From the first scene, when Jack is standing in the water, and she looks sad, I knew it was done. And then when she said "tell me I'm gonna see you again », I collapsed on my bed. The kiss almost killed me, and when she said "i love you", these three words I so wanted to hear from her, I was finished. And the way Jack says he loves her, insisting on the "YOU" ... To say that it is her he loves, not the island, but he must do what he has to do ... Magnificent. Transcendental. The best Jate scene, not only of the season but also throughout the show.

Please note that all comments which say that Kate is in love with Sawyer (some skaters live completely in denial, it is creepy) will be removed, unless they say something intelligent. I don't say that skaters should not be disappointed, and I never make fun by saying "ha ha we won", that's absolutely not like that at all. But some are annoying now... Come on, open your eyes. Skate existed and now it's over.

Well, now enjoy the video ! I don't really like it, but... maybe you will. =)
