This Santa Claus from the Rock Santa series dances to Jingle Bell Rock by Bobby Helms, swaying his hips back and forth. I believe this was released in 1998 and was the first in a series of three dancing Santas. I will be uploading the next two Rock Santas every Saturday in December.
My family has actually had this guy as long as I could remember, as my aunt got one for each household in our family when it released before I was born. Unfortunately, it broke when I was little, so my brother asked for a new one for Christmas a few years ago. He got one, but soon that one broke too. Finally, I bought this one on eBay last year, and it's been as great as I remember! This decoration, and by extension, this song, is iconic in my household and I am so happy that he remains a part of my Christmas season every year. Here he is in all his glory!
