Yeah, so...
Sorry about the quirkiness of the video. I rarely play jazz, so I wanted to spice the visuals up a little :)
Given that I rarely play jazz, I don't often find myself composing jazz songs either. As you can hear, it's not something I'm completely inept at, though!
It actually surprised me how much fun I had coming up with the melodies, chords and rhythms for this piece. Who knows, maybe I'll find myself making things like these more often?
Well, I actually composed this piece as part of a commission, by a friend, for one of his projects. I also ended up adding a few more instruments to the final version. You can listen to that here:

I thought about making a composition with 1000 notes, but I thought I can save that idea until the day I eventually (possibly) hit 2000 subs. Well see if I remember!
I thought about starting this YouTube channel for years and years, but I never really felt ready to do it. But etherealwinds (aka Jordi: https://www.youtube.com/c/JordiFrancis) gave me a little push, and I finally started posting some videos. Thanks to you guys, Ive kept doing it ever since!
I figured I should celebrate by releasing one of my many unlisted videos; one thats particularly special to me. I dont play the song anywhere near perfectly in this video, but its one of my personal favourites among my own compositions. Its difficult to play, and I would like to do it proper justice some day. But for now, I hope youll enjoy this version.
