Jimmy Evans and Joni Lamb, CEO of Daystar TV, spiritually abused Jonathan and Suzy Lamb by telling them to “submit” almost 100 times during a Daystar TV corporate meeting. In these shocking clips, which were secretly recorded, Joni Lamb and Jimmy Evans made it clear that Jonathan and Suzy must do what they wanted—or be fired. They were repeatedly told to submit or leave.
Jonathan and Suzy Lamb did not want to read viewer comments praising Joni’s marriage to Doug Weiss. It went strongly against their convictions because Doug had divorced his Christian ex-wife in order to start dating Joni. In response, Joni Lamb brought in Jimmy Evans to pressure them into compliance. This is a clear case study in spiritual abuse.
It is often called “Christian witchcraft”—a pattern of manipulation, intimidation, and domination that operates within Christian leadership, frequently disguised as “spiritual authority.” From the real audio clips of Joni pressuring her own children, Jonathan and Suzy Lamb, to Jimmy Evans aggressively demanding submission, this video reveals a dark pattern of control that many in the Charismatic and prophetic church movements have experienced or enabled.
God calls us to submit to spiritual leaders only as they follow Christ. When they are not following God, we are not obligated to follow them. No one should ever be forced into submission.
