This session was recorded (apparently) on May 15th 1972 by Jim Steinman, a mysterious 'Brian', Bette Middler, and god knows who else. It was recorded at Hit Factory in New York and produced by Michael Kamen during the time of the aborted 1972 production of The Dream Engine. It gives an insight into early Steinmania and our first glimpse at what would eventually become the famous "Heaven Can Wait", although the arrangement here is rather outrageous... Like everything else, this has been made to sound better... Enjoy!

I know many people have been wanting a truly live version of Do It, as during the second and third legs of the Last World Tour the song was almost entirely mimed, but here from the first leg is a fully live performance of the song, that although muddy at times is still an enjoyable listen and a treat I am sure you all will enjoy!

This is my first tribute video to the fantastic late Bonnie Tyler, it is a compilation of live performances by her of Jim Steinman songs from 1984 until this year when she performed her final concert in London. Most of whats here comes from 1988, as sadly there is a lack of Bonnie Tyler bootleg recordings up until the mid 1990s. I hope this will be of interest to many of you, as it also includes her only live performance of Loving Yous A Dirty Job, performed with The Dream Engine in February 2006.
I will add more here later, but as always enjoy - and never stop rockin!

Its been a while since Ive given this recording much attention, and after a recent suggestion to use AI to do some remixing I thought Id use such technology to tackle this recording from 1968. Popcorn Blizzard (originally Meat Loaf Soul and later The Floating Circus) was the first band Meat Loaf formed after leaving Dallas. This was their only release and was recorded in mid to late 1968, and is a precious glimpse into Meat Loafs development as a singer (and indeed as a writer...)
Ive made a sort of faux/composite stereo mix using the isolated instrumental and vocals, and have added some effects at certain parts to the vocal track and have generally tried to clean up and restore the audio as much as I can. Im in no way going to claim that this is the definitive way to enjoy this single, this is really just a fun project for me, but if youd be interested in me doing some more restorations of studio tracks like this then by all means let me know!
The second song is a cover of the Lee Michaels song Hello, which was released on his second album Carnival of Life (an album I highly recommend you check out!) which debuted in the West Coast in late 1967, and was released more generally in January 1968. The first track, as mentioned Once Upon A Time, is thought to have been co-written by Meat Loaf and Rick Bozzo, with contributions from the rest of the band.
There were actually earlier studio recordings of Meat Loaf done in 1967 although these are thought to be lost entirely and will likely never surface even if they still exist somewhere... With all that out of the way, enjoy and let me know what you think of this little remix experiment.")

This is (I believe) the only recording of the song featuring Cindy Thrall, who briefly replaced The Goff sisters during the Summer of 1990.
