Jim Boren is the recipient of the Outstanding Alumni Award for the College of Arts and Humanities.
An award-winning journalist with more than four decades of newspaper experience, Jim is widely recognized for his expertise in newsroom management and his leadership in the national news scene. Today, he continues his commitment to public trust and accountability as executive director of the Institute for Media and Public Trust at Fresno State.

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is a professional organization for engineers to focus on aerospace studies, but AIAA at Fresno State prides itself in being open to students of any major and skill level.
