My audition for the Disney Remixed Studio held by MomoTokyo8 and Sannex7.

Basic Storyline so far:
Jim(17) left Marina(16) when they were teenagers in order to make something of himself and in order to offer her a better life. After he left, Marina found out she was pregnant with his child. Heartbroken, she raises the baby on her own with her mother. She names the daughter Kayley, and she is a splitting image of herself . Sixteen years pass, and there has been no word from Jim. Many believe he is dead, and others simply think that he abandoned Marina and joined a crew of thieves. Marina still believes that Jim will come back one day, despite her mother's disapproval of the subject. She wants Marina to move on with her life and leave him in the past.
So, the story starts off with Marina having flashbacks of the day Jim left, and mourning over his absence. Then the scenes switch to the house, where Marina's mother is trying to fit Kayley for a new dress. In the process, Marina talks about another memory she shared with Jim. Kayley runs out of the room in a fit, tired of hearing her mother talk about the man that left them and never came back. All her life, Kayley has dreamed of her father's return, yearning to meet him. She has simply given up hope.
Later on that evening, Kayley is out fishing, and a ship docks at the harbor. A young man, perhaps in his early thirties, steps off the ship with his crew. Kayley immediately welcomes the newcomer. He stares at her in shock. The man is no other than Jim. He is haunted with memories of Marina, but realizes that it is not her. He is struck by their similarity. Kayley invites Jim to the party back in town (not shown). Jim agrees, not wanting to be rude, and at the same time wanting to get to know this strange girl who resembles a ghost from his past.
At the party, Jim runs into Marina. She is talking with another man who seems to be showing great interest for her (Proteus). Marina recognizes Jim, despite his obvious change in appearance. She is in shock, but immediately delivers a cold, heart-broken stare in his direction. Jim is speechless. Marina's mother takes action and yells at Jim to leave at once. Kayley is in the background, confused at her grandmother's sudden aggression. The preview ends with Jim leaving the party, Marina trying to shrug off the incident to her suitor, and an angered Kayley, demanding to know the meaning of her mother's rude behavior towards her guest.
Ok, lol. So, I'm sorry if the story is kind of confusing! ^_^ But, I hope to finish it soon. I just new I wouldn't be done in time for the audition, so I had to stop the story there for now. So, I guess it's a cliffhanger!
And I realize some of the editing and masking is a little off. I apologize for that. I hope it doesn't look too fake! I know everyone will have a laugh at the part where Marina's mother is yelling, and Kayley is in the background. I know I did! Haha. But, it's the only scene that I thought would fit. *shrugs* And I also want to say that I had a little trouble trying to tell the story and trying to semi-follow the beats at the same time. lol. It was quite a challenge actually. But, I hope it will all work out!
I hope you all will enjoy this anyway. And again, I want to thank you ALL, for your support after getting deleted from youtube and all. You have been such amazing, supportive, caring people, and believe me, I really appreciate it. Take care everyone!
